STEPPER MOTOR - CONTROLLER INTEGRATED |
|
The STM series is Moons’ line of integrated stepper motors. The stepper motor and driver are combined into a single unit, offering significant savings on space, wiring, and cost over conventional motor and drive solutions. The STM series is part of the ST product family of stepper drives, sharing a common configuration interface and all supporting common programming languages and tools.
Powerful features such as Dynamic Current Control, Anti-Resonance Technology, Microstep Emulation, Torque Ripple Smoothing, Command Signal Smoothing and Stall Detection / Stall Prevention make this drive solution ideal for applications such as medical, packaging, factory automation, semiconductor, textile machines, pumps and a wide variety of other automation applications.
The STM23 series is available in lengths of 93 mm with an output torque of up to 0,85 Nm, or 115 mm with an output torque of up to 1,4 Nm. The more powerful STM24 series is available in length of 95 mm with an output torque of up to 1,2 Nm, or 126 mm with an output torque of up to 2,4 Nm. All series provide three digital inputs, one digital output and one analog output. Users can choose from an RS232 or RS485 or RS232 + CANopen communication interface and an optional 1000 line encoder that is integrated to the motor body without increasing the size of the unit. The optional encoder provides stall detect and stall prevention functionality.
Three versions with different control options are available:

SOLUTIONS FOR OUTDOOR APPLICATIONS |
|
Motors in outdoor applications, such as aircraft, marine, automotive, antenna, solar equipment, etc., are often subjected to high humidity or salty environments. Exposure to such conditions can cause motors to rust or corrode, eventually leading to motor failure.
MOONS’ has adopted a special processing technology which applies protective coatings to the surface of the rotor and stator. This effectively prevents the motor from rusting or corroding even during long periods of non-operation.
Currently, MOONS’ Motors with this special protective technology are being used in NAVY cruisers and aircrafts as part of the radar control system.

LED DRIVERS - NEW SERIES 2010 |
|

LED’s has wide applications. As the fourth generation light source, is an energy-saving, green and long life product, many countries are actively developing the LED industry to push the replacement of traditional lighting. Since Moons’ Industries started the Switching Power Supply business in 2000, we are a pioneer of the LED driver technology. LED drivers from Moons’ Industries are installed in vending machines and supermarket freezers of widely known brands, in indoor applications such as furniture illumination, stage lighting, tube lighting, medical devices, but also in many LED street lightings and LED tunnel lightings around the world.
In 2010 new universal LED driver series with improved efficiency and features such as Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Over Current Protection (OCP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), Power Factor Correction (PFC) and Auto Recovery are introduced. All driver are approved according to UL, CE, EN55015, EN61347, EN61547 and EN61000. These new drivers will wider open the field of LED applications.
The new catalogue 2010 is available under the download section or at this link: LED DRIVER CATALOGUE.

NEW 3 PHASE HYBRID STEPPING MOTORS |
|
MOONS' INDUSTRIES presents a new generation of 3 Phase / 1,2° hybrid stepping motors. The motors are available in flange sizes of 60mm x 60mm (NEMA 24) and 85mm x 85mm (NEMA 34). Dependent of the requested torque, different lengths are deliverable.
Compared with conventional 2-phase systems, MOONS’ latest 3-phase step motors and drives feature Low Noise, Smooth Movement, Low Vibration and More Competitive Prices than actual on the market available products. For this reason the motors are specifically qualified for new designs and developments of Medical Devices, Textile Machines, Banking- and Office Automation Devices, Pumps, Security Cameras and Gambling Machines. |
